June 19th 2019 witnessed the Investiture ceremony in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala wherein the newly elected student council was invested with badges. The Chief guest of the event was Smt. Saleena V G Nair, an alumnus of the school who is the Secretary (Sub judge/CJM) at District Legal Services Authority, Ernakulam. The programme started with a prayer followed by lighting of the lamp signifying the spreading of divine grace and invoking positivity among all present. Steve Fernandes, the former Head Boy of the school delivered the welcome speech. Principal, Ms. Prathiba V addressed the gathering and motivated the students to refine their leadership skills and talents. The Chief guest Smt.Saleena V G Nair, Principal Ms. Prathiba V, Sports teachers and House mistresses honoured the students’ council members of 2019-20 with their leadership badges. The newly invested Head Boy, Abhishek.P.M led the Student council in taking the oath. The chief guest enlightened the students with her inspiring words. She reminded the students that they are second to none and are all leaders in some way. The Head Girl, Gayatri Anil Deshpande gave the acceptance speech on behalf of the students’ council. A memento was presented to the chief guest by the Principal for her valuable support. The Investiture ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
