Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2024 in the school with the staff, students and parents. The Chief Guest of the day was Major Ranjit H S (Retd). The Chief Guest after hoisting the flag, received the salute for the March past conducted by the students of four houses of the school. The Principal addressed the gathering. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir which sang patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings toward the motherland. Pledge was delivered by the Head boy of the school. Sweets were distributed to the students before dispersal.
The primary section students sang patriotic songs, dressed up as national leaders and presented their famous quotes. The little soldiers and armed officers enhanced the spirit of the program. The event concluded with an informative quiz related to Indian Independence.
