Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala organised its 42nd Annual Sports Day on 17th and 18th January 2025 amidst great mirth, verve and camaraderie. Shri Putta Vimaladitya, IPS, DIG & City Police Commissioner, Ernakulam was the chief guest. The chief guest, in his inaugural address, spoke about the importance of keeping one's body, mind and soul fit. He elaborated on how children must inculcate the qualities like perseverance, resilience and endurance to attain success in all the endeavours. Principal Prathiba V welcomed the gathering. Shri K S Vijayakumar, President, Shri M Unnikrishnan, Secretary, Shri Ranjith Warrier, Treasurer, Board of Management, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala were also present for the function. The Olympic flame was lit by the Athletes who were the Gold Medalists in various track and field events at the National Level. The programme was followed by a spectacular march past by the four house contingents. A synchronised Zumba dance was the highlight of this event.

Shri K S Vijayakumar, President, Board of Management was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. The competitiveness and sportsmanship among the participants soared high in the Athletic events that were held in the two days.
