Aaradhana Day was observed to commemorate the Anniversary of our Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. Roopshika of Std 11 gave an introductory speech in remembrance of Gurudev for the invaluable service offered to mankind. Gurupadukasthothram and Gurusthothram were chanted with divine fragrance along with bhajans. Ms. Girija addressed the students and reminded them to remember, reflect, and recommit to the teachings and legacy of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. She connected the importance of gita in the life of Olympic Winner Manu Bhaker, the 700 verses of Gita had a far reaching impact in the life of Manu Bhaker right from the tender age of 16 which helped her to gain composure to remain calm and to work with all her might without expecting any result – The Sole essence of Gita.
Shivathmika S. Nair of Std 7 and Bhavya Krishnan of Std 5 described the importance of Aaradhana Day. Chanting of Ashtotharashathnamavali followed by bhajans and aarthi by Ms. Bindu. A speech by Ms. Sheela Pugal on the life of Pujya Swami Chinmayananda was described to students. She further mentioned how Swamiji brought the knowledge of the science of Vedanta to the doorstep of people around the world and also implored to develop the right perspective and knowledge as teachings of Pujya Gurudev.
