Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th of June 2024. Programmes were put up based on the theme "Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience." The Principal, Ms. Prathiba V emphasized on the importance of taking collective action to protect and heal our planet. The chief guest Mr. Udhayan, Forest Range Officer, Flying Squad, Ernakulam, in his speech called for action, from students, teachers and parents, to take small steps towards making a big difference. Planting a tree, picking up litter, or simply spreading awareness about the importance of protecting our planet can help build a sustainable future. Children and the chief guest planted saplings in the school campus and pledged to safeguard the environment and its resources.
